The founder and principal broker of NorWest Business Sales, Inc. Ladd C. McGowan, is a veteran in the business brokerage industry. His resume’ includes the founding and ownership of day a care center, insurance brokerage, full service restaurant, light haul trucking and a private vocational school. In the process of owning these companies, he has had a direct hands-on experience of accounting, marketing, budgeting, tax planning, staff supervision and training and client relations as well as selling.
After selling his last business in 1983, he realized how much he enjoyed the process and immediately began obtaining the appropriate education and certification to become a successful business broker. He knew that simply being a business broker wasn’t enough, so in the 24 years as a professional he has obtained the necessary credentials to be credited as a Certified Business Intermediary, Senior Business Analyst, Certified Business Counselor and which sets him apart from most others in the industry. To add to his expertise, Ladd holds an Oregon and Washington Real Estate license.
